Hello and welcome to my guide to character creation! I'll make things quick and simple for everyone and even give a few suggestions. If you're new, I recommend making a character based off yourself. It'll be quicker and easier. Step 1: Copy and paste this character template. Step 2: Name your character whatever you want, but obviously (s)he can't be named after a character that already exists in Star Force. Don't forget age and gender. Step 3: Write up your character's description. Describe how they appear in the world of SFRP. Then go to personality. How do they react to certain situations? Next the backstory. Maybe something happened to make them the way they are? Personally I like having two paragraphs 5 sentences long each. Step 4: Time to start on your EM Being. What's its name? It doesn't have the same gender restrictions as humans. Step 5: Description, Personality, and Backstory again. Your EM Being can be a Wizard like from Star Force 3, a UMA like from Star Force 2, or even AMian or FMian, the original EM Beings of the Star Force series. Step 6: EM Wave Change on air! Time to start on your Wave conversion. What's its name and gender? Personally I like short and cool sounding names like Renegade or Vigilante. I'm using those two, so don't think about using them. Step 7: Description yet again! Describe how your character appears in his/her conversion. It can be as flashy as you like or not at all! Now choose your elements. Remember, they can't be from the same cycle. Step 8: Strengths and Weaknesses your conversion has. for every physical strength, a physical weakness. Same goes for mental. You can have up to four. Don't want any? ask staff. I haven't seen it done, so I can't tell you anything about it. Step 9: Weapons! You start with two, each having two attack slots. It's a good idea to start with at least one damaging weapon. Be sure to check the Weapons Guide for details. I suggest starting with a gun or a sword. Maybe even both. Remember! Ranged attacks have a base damage of Moderate (5%) and Melee attacks have a base damage of Modest (7%). To exceed this baseline you must apply proper drawbacks. For the first attack, I suggest making it a basic attack that can be used multiple times per turn. This results in an automatic nerf, lowering Ranged to Low (3%) and Melee to Moderate (5%). After all, you can't use Battle Cards forever. You can later buy more weapons for 10,000 Zenny each and extra attacks for 3000 Zenny each. You can only have up to four weapons, and each one can have up to three attacks, but you start with your first two weapons for free as well as two extra attack slots.
