"So you see," The grey Wave Warrior stated, walking in clear, confident strides that didn't imply that he was currently moving down the halls of one of the most secure and guarded areas in the whole of Netopia. The dark capes draped around him billowed round his feet, somehow managing not to entangle them and interrupt his pace. "I hope you understand. I have no quarrel with any of you." The staff were fleeing with oh so much screaming, but the lack of blaring red alarms overhead kind of hurt the ambience a bit, to say the truth. Bah, silent alarms were no fun. A couple of guards took up positions, crouching and pulling out their firearms. Gray's arm flashed, and an invisible blade whipped out, too fast to see anything but a streak of bright silver, and the guards collapsed, joining the count of unconscious security personnel lining up the hallway when they had attempted to offer resistance.

"But the thing is; when you're heading a rabble of throatslitting moneygrubbing slimeballs for which prerequisite to any sensible conversation involves a comparation of the size of one's balls, and following conversation thereafter takes place in the language of unscrupulousness, power and money, you only get so much results without having to prove yourself capable of busting some skulls yourself. Thus," he gestured in an explanatory fashion around him, having found his way in the main control room at the tallest level of the facility.

"WAXA- epitome of Noise technology." He smirked. "Yet still so primitive in the face of the precursors of the past. Oh well." He raised his hands, and the numerous screens surrounding him immediately flashed red, as Hai began running brute force scripts into the system, cracking the drives on site.

Gray turned, his mask a pale moon shrouded by his shadowy hood, looking out of the glazed window overseeing the slumbering city below. "And now we wait."

Since Dynamo's sudden outburst, and the show of his darker programming, Mehk had been avoiding Wave Changing as much as possible. He had made a point to schedule a meeting with some scientists who worked on the SHYGUY Project, which took confiscated contraband data and repurposed it into Wizards for a good cause. Generally, this cause was to work alongside the Satella Police.

The SHYGUY Project was shut down a while ago, and, although the scientists who were on it were still at WAXA, there was nothing to say they would be willing to help him. Criminal expertise was unparalleled at the time of its start, and made repurposing wizards rather dangerous due to flaws in the process. As a result, Wizards already created were either destroyed or somehow escaped and Data found beyond that was simply locked away.

Dynamo was a product of that program, originally confiscated from Velcir Van Dyke and repurposed into an analytical Wizard by the name of Fahrok. A little ways into their career together, Fahrok had been taken by Velcir and properly reconstructed into Dynamo. Some fail-safes placed within his coding prevented a full transformation, and Dynamo kept a lot of Fahrok's memories - which meant he was more than ready to work with Mehk.

That kind of explained why he was here, today. He was following up on his meeting request. The second reason was the giant alert that floated across the air, requesting Satella Police assistance at the labs - as he walked into the building in human form, he figured out why.

The place was in a wreck. Consoles destroyed; wizards, guards and scientists tossed to the side like trash; and even harmless potted plants were left lying on the floor in ruin. As he gazed up the stairs, he noticed the man causing the fuss.

It was a Wave Warrior, with a grey cloak covering him from top to bottom, walking forward with a calm gait while on a visible frequency.

In his mind, he knew what was going to happen. But, he didn't feel safe, risking Dynamo going out of control should they Wave Change. So, he followed the man up the stairs and displayed his badge.

"I'm with the Satella Police. I'll give you only one chance to lower your weapons, and come with me peacefully," he explained calmly, with a steely gaze. Dynamo wasn't being very responsive at the moment, but, he had a good feeling his Wizard would intervene if it came down to it.

He heard the crunch of approaching footsteps upon debris, and turned his head unconcernedly, in an unhurried pace to find out who it was. There was a faint dissonance in the steps taken, a break in the rhythm, almost purposely. He wondered about that, but only with scattered, distracted disinterest at the back of his mind.

He was pleased to see the Officer, a playful kind of joy kindling within his heart, like a kitten having found its favourite plaything, which happened to be an unfortunate mouse. His eyes glinted with a light, though it was hard to tell through the ghastly white mask he wore under the shock of hair, dark as night.

"Yes... you'll do just fine." The gray man said to himself softly, a mewling quality to his voice.

He watched, with humble amusement, as the officer produced his badge, patiently allowing the man to recite his lines. Despite years of practice and detachment that pronounced a general world-weariness that had worked its way into his tone, there was, drawing a further smile beneath the criminal's mask, the slightest hint of a Shisan inflection in his voice, given away by the sharp instead of flat enunciation of 'i's and the way he rolled off the end of a sentence from a c minor to a c major key. How could he miss it? Given the years spent on that dainty little island himself. Barring one major live-changing event.

Really, everything then had led down onto this path, a hardened criminal with morals about as flat as a dead-lining pan. He really should get that re-evaluated sometime.

"I-" He paused, as a scream from somewhere behind him cut him off. He paused, waited for a second, and started again. "Like I was saying, I-"

The scream, again. Gray closed his eyes and frowned. He craned his neck to look at the source of trying patience. It originated from a staff member of the facilities, perhaps, with one trapped under a particularly large piece of drywall that very well suggested it was broken. She was screaming, out of pain and shock, perhaps, a dazed look of confusion in her teared eyes that seemed to focus on nothing, the way those in shock did.

Gray sighed and put out a finger. "One moment, please."

He took three wide steps, chose a good angle-

-And slid the tip of his silver blade into her throat. The screaming turned to an arupt gurgle as the length entered her, and she slumped back the next second, laying limply against the ground.

Satisfied, Gray turned back and resumed his original position facing the GSP, looking no more nonplussed than a man than had just turned off a radio. "Ah, yes. Where was I? That's very fair of you, I suppose. I kindly decline." He spread an open palm towards the policeman, a plaintive gesture. "Do you have a Wave Change, or do you plan on staring at me to death?"

Mehk realized with a cringing certainty that the dissonance in his step, caused by the careful placement of his right leg, was a dead give away to his approach. Had the man chose to cut him down, he could've done it long before Mehk had the chance to apprehend him.

Thankfully for him, the cloaked criminal seemed more amused than bothered. He didn't seem to have a dislike for him; rather, indifference.

The man started talking, only to be cut off by a sharp scream. Mehk pulled his attention away from the Warrior to look for the source, only to get his attention coaxed back towards his voice. It was short lived, and another scream cut him off - from the same source, as he saw a female staff member out of his peripheral vision.

He held up a finger at Mehk, as though this were a minor inconvenience that he wanted to deal with it. He also noted that, despite their obvious differences, the guy was rather polite. Before Mehk could process all that was happening, the woman dropped with a clean gash in her throat.

Mehk looked down at the woman in shock, then averted his gaze back to the warrior. He was instantly furious, with both the warrior and himself - how had he just sat there and let him do that? He looked at the Wave Warrior with a new light, his steely gaze now passionate as his jaw set.

"I do have a Wave Conversion, and, at this point, I suppose it only proper to use my full force against you." Mehk smiled, realizing just how much Dynamo had rubbed off on him.

"I'll hold nothing back, if you promise to do the same." In truth, he didn't really care if the criminal withheld his full strength or not. He wasn't going to derive any pleasure from this battle; although, the learning experience to come with it. . .that was another story, entirely.

Mehk carefully brought his extended arm back in front of him, keeping his unwavering gaze on the Warrior as he turned the dais on his Hunter V-G.

Mehk knew that Dynamo instantly appeared behind him, as a small aura of energy suddenly surrounded him. What set him into panic, though, was the discoloration of that aura; whereas it was normally a radiant amalgam of yellows, oranges and reds, it was now a morbid combination of maroons, blacks and crimsons.

Mehk wouldn't see Dynamo behind him, but, the nearly man-sized wizard floating just above his person wasn't a fiery red color with a bright red armor and orange highlights, as per the usual. The large, rhino-esque wizard was made up of maroon waves, with crimson armor and black highlights. Emotionless, golden eyes glowed on his head.

A sense of panic took over Mehk, and he allowed it to show on his face, just before the dark aura erupted into a pillar of energy that consumed both him and Dynamo.

He felt Dynamo's mind coalesce with his own, as the transformation took place within the pillar. Dynamo's wave form wrapped around his body, taking proper form as their frequencies became one. The only difference, was that Dynamo's mind manifested much stronger than normal. Just like in their last battle, where Mehk was forced to be the one in the backseat, while Dynamo went on a rampage.

During that battle, Mehk had seen everything, and was forced to watch as Dynamo nearly killed himself and the other Warrior, in a hope to sate his rage; Mehk being powerless to stop him.

The pillar of energy dissipated from around them, and, in Mehk's place, stood the broad mass of a warrior that was Dynamo King. Going from 5' 2" to 6' 5", and from the skinny man to a bulky warrior, Dynamo King's most noticeable aspect was his sheer size. His head befitted a rhino's in design, with an iridescent maroon horn mounted at the end of his long snout. He had broad, powerful, armored hooves for feet, a large chest plate, an engorged right gauntlet and a normal sized but still heavily armored left one.

His armor was a deep, crimson color, with black outlines. His piercing golden eyes were apathetic, save for his rage.

A wide, eerie, wolfish grin splayed across what could be seen of his mouth, as he studied Gray from top to bottom. "Heh. . .you look easy to break. You better at least make this fun. . ." he hissed with glee, his tone on the verge of hedonistic.

Through Dynamo's golden eyes, Mehk looked at the gray warrior, wishing there was something he could do, but knowing that there wasn't. He'd have to wait for the failsafe to kick in, and hope that gave him some sort of control over his Wave Form, again. . .Dynamo was still on a high from his rage, though, and he worried that he may never recover from it.

The sheer multitude of Waves emanating from the Wizard that had formed behind the GSP officer seemed to pulsate across the room, the intensifying magnitude of its Waves spreading across the room like a fell sickness, throwing harsh lights of vermilion and black across the room. It was like looking into a burning sun going supernova in action; if the sun had suddenly been blighted by a cancer that turned it a sickly purple. Nonetheless, the power that radiated from the Wave Warrior, even as he was simply just Wave Changing, could not be denied.

The GSP was, possibly, the most powerful warrior he ever had to face.

The Waves condensed and materialized to a more solid form, and all of a sudden the officer was a hulking , armored behemoth. His limbs were long, reminiscent of primates, and thick as trunks. It looked like he could just reach across the room with them and squeeze his head into pulp without no much more effort than he might to a melon. There was a thick, tough of leathery armor about him, and his face, small compared to the rest of his body, was contorted with lines of bloodlust. Not much more than his eyes could be seen, a plated, elongated mouthpiece attached to a helmet encasing the rest of it, with one quite malicious looking horn of blood red stretching from the end of the snoutline mouthpiece, a vicious statement all by itself.

"Ah." Gray stated softly, and though his voice was still kept carefully neutral, there was something that gave away that he hadn't exactly been expecting this.

Kirihiko Kyo had never been a tall person, and even as Gray he wasn't much taller. The sheer height advantage the rhinoceros-like Wave Warrior was so staggering, he suddenly had a flash of insight of what it might have been to be a hobbit.

The change of personality was... overt. Whatever had become of the level-headed officer a moment before, it had been replaced by something less reasonable, and what it lost it made up for with more than twice the brutality. There something animal about it, basic, a screaming instinct to sink its claws into flesh and rip it apart- and Kirihiko was just offering himself up on a dish with an apple in his mouth.

He had hoped for something mediocre. Maybe someone with a little brass, just to show he could get things done- the purpose of his visit, after all, was to impress a bunch of lowlife goonies. This had just went straight past appetizers to a full-on all-you-can-eat buffet.

Nonetheless, the gray warrior, drew his blade, and gave a saluting slant, complete with a slight bow. "Come at me." He said simply, the hollowness in his voice divulging nothing, as he prepared to face the dreadnought before him.

Dynamo let his grin deepen as the gray warrior eyed him up and down, Dynamo himself looking at the man like a new toy for him to play with. He stayed there for a moment, idle, and let the man gather up all of his fears and letting him get rid of all of his underesta-whatevers, before his care for battle got in the way of his care for his opponent's fear. He wanted to get this show on the road.

He eyed the man's sword as he carried it down into a bow. He wasn't sure what he expected to get out of Dynamo from that, but, it wasn't going to be a somewhat-less-painful-beat-down. The guy's bravery was kind of funny. . . he has no idea.

His grin shortened as he put on his serious face. "Gladly," he grunted at the man's bravery, standing up to focus more of his weight into his upper body. If he didn't know anything else, he knew about fighting.

Which was why he started the battle by using a Battle Card, feeling the info run through him as a yellow aura sprang around his body, giving everything he viewed out of it a weird, yellow tint. He decided immediately that he didn't like this; he wanted to properly see his opponent's face when they squirmed. Although, it did make him look a little funny. . .

He decided he'd start off simple, and leave Cloudy guessing. He reached for his horn with his smaller hand, wrenching it off of his head. He grabbed a hold of the small handle the .5 meter blade had, making a slow run forward to close the distance. "The fun starts here!"

Once right up close and personal with his opponent - just how he liked it -, he brought the sword down towards his sword arm, and then quickly followed up by simply slanting the weapon up towards his chest, grunting with each slash.

It wasn't much, and it definitely wouldn't show just how strong he was - at least, not in his own thoughts. That was nothing, compared to his real ability. After his brief use of it, he put his horn back on his head, not wanting to have to deal with it clogging up his hands when he didn't need it - personally, he didn't like it. He'd be doing a lot more punching.

He just hoped the other guy could handle a little bit of skull-bashing.

Mehk was watching from the other hand, all of Dynamo's thoughts circulating through his own mind, but, without any influence over them or even the actions Dynamo made in his body. Despite his dislike for the criminal, he seemed to have a code of honor - he respected Dynamo enough to bow for him, which his brute of a Wizard happily answered with a stab to the shoulder.

Of course, this showed that Dynamo had learned from his last encounter. Whereas his Wizard was incapable of controlling his outbursts of rage, which threw him into a blood lust like no other, he was still sentient and completely conscious about what he was doing. He was just okay with it. Hopefully, with time, he'll finally calm down, and he'll be able to answer for all the things he's done.

Of course, in all honesty, thus far, he hasn't done anything necessarily wrong. He's gone on a rampage on a person threatening civilians, and now he's going on rampage against a man attacking the WAXA headquarters. When he shows his complete disregard for his - or anyone else's - safety, and starts using extremely dangerous attacks, though, he'll get himself into trouble. Thankfully, last time, Mehk had managed to take the battle to the Wave road before things could get out of hand; and, in the end, Dynamo had the Dino Girl to occupy him while the fail-safe kicked in.

Speaking of which. . .with how connected he was to Dynamo's code, he could faintly feel the activation of the Fail-Safe. Last time, though, it took a good while for the Fail Safe to go into effect, and completely shut Dynamo down. Thankfully, the person attacking them was already done, and simply waiting for Dynamo to let down.

In this situation, Mehk wouldn't be so lucky.

So that's what that's for. Grey thought, as he watched the great samson pick his horn off, brandishing it like a curved, malicious dagger.

Gray squared himself up, holding his blade at the side with stable hands, readying himself to meet six feet and seven hundred stones of muscle in battle, as if he were a fearless warrior of many wars.

Except he wasn't.

Kirihiko was glad for the mask obscuring his face, so that the rhinoceros-like opponent couldn't see his the unadulterated fear palpitating from him. As a vanilla human he'd never been a good fighter, and during his time as a Wave Warrior he had detested having to engage anyone in a frontal conflict. He simply wasn't cut out for it; but after having been thoroughly thrashed by a speedy swordbearer in a prior match, rendering his sniping equipment so woefully impotent, Kyo had elected for a similar style this time, for when he had absolutely no other choice but to stand before an enemy.

Of course, even so, he had no intention of actually trading one-for-one with the opponent; his entire equipment set for Gray's sword form was meant to compensate for himself in battle, whilst deluding the enemy into believing his pretense of strength was actually genuine.

...That said, he hadn't actually taken into account fighting the fiercest thing closest to a cousin of the yeti in a tight, enclosed environment. With Breaking properties, not to say the least; and even with his Breaking Defense on, the punches would still go through him like a fist through drywall.

It was a game of ifs and elses, a contest of foresight versus insight, theory versus practical. He was bluffing the enemy with a hand of a pair of twos, and he was pretty sure the other guy had a full house of kings with pocket aces. He needed to Houdini his way out of this one, all whilst running the roundabout on his opponent the whole time.

Still, Kyo smiled nervously to himself, his lips pressed together in a thin line. He did have a couple of pocket aces up his sleeves, and if he could play them at the right timing, he was marginally confident of getting out of this victorious.

The rhino charged him, a golden, shimmerring aura encasing him- his opponent had his own cards to play, obviously. He moved with deceptive swiftness for a man that size, the way large animals did when they were allowed to build up speed; barely any time to breath, and the officer was onto him. Wasn't his first rodeo, either; he'd swung his horn-blade at Grey's sword arm- having identified him correctly as a swordsman, he now sought to maim him where it'ld hurt the most.

Grey drew his arm back, but none too quickly enough; the hornblade drew an arcing ribbon of deep scarlet through his forearm, inches away from cutting bone. He let out a stifled yelp as he dropped his blade. Trying to turn around, he tried whirling out of the rhino's path, but the berserker wasn't having any of that. The goliath's hornsword came swiping at him again, this time with the intention to gore him in the chest. He dropped to the ground and bent his back over like a professional limbo gamer, letting the blade pass as he slid underneath. As he righted himself, he summoned a Sword to compensate for his missing one at the same time, switching sword hands as he did. It seemed a good time to cue 'Alas! I am not left-handed!' to his opponent, except for the face that he hadn't been using his left hand in the first place. Dropping wisecracks also seemed to be dangerous when he was lying in stamping distance of the closest things to 300 pounds on one leg, so he made the wise decision to shut it. Instead, he brought the Sword up, twisted it around, and thrust it into the heart of the opponent.

...Yeah, that didn't happen.

His Sword simply stopped a fraction away from the rhino's hide, the golden aura around suddenly an impenetrable veil that had eaten all the force of his thrust cold. And now, Grey was vividly aware he was just standing in crushing distance of a bear-sized man with one limp arm dangling by his side, whom he had just tried to poke and failed. He raised his head slowly to the red glare of the berserker with stomach-sinking trepidation.

"Ah." Grey remarked quite emptily.

OOC: I know you're not a girl.
Dynamo's blood lust really got going when he saw the Warrior's crimson splatter. He'd noted that not many wave warriors had blood - or, at least, they didn't when he was fighting them. She dodged out of the way of his second slash, taking full advantage of her own speed. . .at least, he assumed it was a girl. Looked girly enough.

A good thing he didn't care about beating up women.

His slash forced her to drop her sword, which he was hoping would happen. She quickly conjured up another one, though, and went to run him through with it. Had it not been for his protective bubble, which he noted was a lot different than his previous blue one, she would've succeeded. This bubble didn't pop, though; it stayed up. Which meant that he was in for some fun.

Dynamo angled his snout, to look down the edge of the sword at the Warrior, who was now looking back up at him. "It isn't gonna be that easy," he snarled at Cloudy, reaching forward to grab her weapon in his iron grip with his much larger hand while he activated a battle card, crushing a small stream of data into his smaller hand.

A volcano-like cannon formed where his left hand used to be. He placed his arm on top of her sword, using the blade as a rest as he crudely pointed the cannon at her face.

Crude? Must've learned that from the boy.

His body jolted back as he pulled the trigger from inside the weapon, watching with expectant glee as the bolt of magma blasted down at her.

He didn't dismiss the magma blaster, and decided to keep it around while it was useful. Releasing his grip from her sword, he raised his much larger hand - the Dynamo Gauntlet - and surged forward, pushing all of his weight and strength into this devastating punch aimed at knocking a few teeth out.

His momentum didn't stop, though. His weight sent him stumbling forward, and, when his weight didn't help in stopping his arm, he found it familiarly planted into the ground. He slung forward just a bit more, but, his planted arm stopped him from going too much farther past her, and sent him slinging back; he was open and vulnerable, without any way to defend himself.

Except for the bubble, which was still turning the world yellow.

The criminal hadn't done her research. The battlecard Dynamo just activated would protect him from most attacks - unless she had a stronger attack up her sleeve, he'd have to deal with an untouchable tank of death.

What worried him the most, though, was that Dynamo was fresh with new ideas - he had learned from his last battle, and seemed to be figuring out how to make the battle a tad more interesting beyond his motto of Punch anything that's my enemy; especially if it moves. He proved to be a quick study on the battlefield, and, if the other warrior didn't play his own cards right, he may be in for a grueling battle with Dynamo that they have no hope of winning.

Of course, Dynamo was a simple creature. He was easy to taunt, easy to get riled up. Of course, he already was riled up, which was why Mehk was in this situation to begin with. Given time, Mehk felt like Dynamo would start simply repeating the same moves over and over again - especially if he got angry. He'd use his most violent, personal moves, no matter the cost to himself, the surrounding area or the people around him.

While he didn't want the criminal to stop Dynamo, he didn't want Dynamo to be left in a state where he was still capable enough to continue his rampage. He'd do the building worse than the criminal would; right now, all this man was was a distraction. Something for Dynamo to pour his rage into accomplishing. He was all for the criminal getting sent away with handcuffs. . .but he knew that, if Dynamo had any say, there wouldn't be much of a criminal to send away.

Kirihiko Kyo had to fight down an audible gulp when his opponent grabbed his Sword by the blade, and rested a heavy-looking piece of- is that a bazooka?

The cannon blasted him right in his face.

He could feel the searing heat eat at his flesh through the mask, as his entire body was flung back. There was a strange, muffled sensation in his head, as though he was in an enclosed, soundproof room, and his ears were ringing dully. Everything was grain and noise in his vision, and an insensate sensation that he registered as pain, but just couldn't feel it.

If he was allowed to rest, Grey would've probably just stayed down there and then. All the fight in him had just evaporated by the intense heat of the blast, and he could still see smoking tendrils curl from his outfit, a screaming alarm in his brain telling him that he should be in intense agony, but the pain was just missing, disconnected at the moment.

There wasn't going to be a chance like that. Not with this gorilla-ish brute here. Pressing in the kill, he dropped a punch at Grey, less fist, more anvil, sending him all the way across the room and crashing into the wall so hard, it was a wonder the wall was still intact. And all the pain came crashing back in, his senses brought back to life with the earlier impact, and suddenly all Grey wanted to do was scream and scream, but his lungs seemed to have collapsed with that knock and he had no breath left to do so.

His Breaking Defense Ability Wave had helped him deal with the otherwise earth-shattering blows, but the rhinoceros' attack was still nothing short of punishing. It had hammered into him with the blunt force of concrete smashers, and Gray could feel his bones begin to give way. There was no way he could take someone with this much raw power head-on.

And that was fine, because he never intended to.

Throughout his years, Kirihiko Kyo had spent most of his childhood hunting with bow and arrows in the snow, and learning karate as a youth. He'd excelled at neither of the arts, understanding the theory but unable to put it into practice, in particular when it came to sparring scenarios. He did well at track, vaulted impressive distances and was always a favourite to have on your side when it came to ball games after class- but when it came to trading blows with another human being, he mostly really sucked. But he had sat with it through the end; for one reason:

He wasn't honing himself, so much as preparing himself for what was to come.

So, despite the extent of punishment he'd just been handed out, Grey was calm and passive. He collected himself, suppressing the scream, reining in the pain and bridling it together, setting up his mental fortitude to keep the pain at bay. He understood the mentality of his attacker, knew what rage that drove him and the fighter's instinct that directed him, and he knew how to move to exploit that. This wasn't a fight that required one to pummel another into the mat to win; he only needed to outmaneuver him.

So he rested there, against the wall, silent and biding his time till he was confident about standing again. The beady eyes of malicious crimson regarded him, and he replied in nought, only sliding his leg in to push off should he need to recover his stance in a quick turn of events.

Dynamo watched as the warrior went flying back from the first shot, bouncing along the ground before getting thrown into the wall by his powerful punch. The girl had missed her chance to hit him while he was incapable, and Dynamo spent but an instant in wrenching his over sized fist out of the floor, looking down at the nice crater he left.

He looked back up, glaring down his snout at Cloudy. Slumped up against the wall, she looked like a new toy played with too harshly, tattered and bruised before it could be conditioned for the big boys. Despite her frailty, though, he had to give it to her on how well she was handling the pain - she might not be too boring, after all. He did like having something to break.

He'll enjoy finally hearing her scream. Yes, that's what he decided was his mission for this battle; aside from getting rid of his rage. In his last one, it was to fight an equal - in this one, it will be to break her.

"If ye won't scream, I'll make ya!"

He started at a slow (normal pace for him, really) walk towards her. He pointed the bazooka - he really liked this thing - at her, once again pulling the trigger inside. He felt the heat going through the barrel as the magma shot barreled forward.

He wasn't going to let up, though. He pulled on the light from the surroundings, creating a dark and desolate orb from the colors of his armor in the palm of his engorged hand. Wheeling back and throwing the orb forward, he watched it arc a little ways in front of her. She wouldn't have to worry about the orb - it was the bang that came with it.

On touch down, the orb of compressed light rays would rapidly expand outward, coating a one meter radius area in its desolate blaze. The explosion wouldn't deal much damage, but, it would pierce through any defenses she tried to put into use.

Well out of the range of the explosion at the time, he started to reach up for his horn. A walking tank of destruction, he was slow but steady, and wasn't quite ready to show his true power, yet - he wrenched his horn from his head, grabbed at the handle with his larger hand, and delivered a full-frontal stab at her chest. After the attack, the small, curved, menacing blade simply disappeared, reappearing in its place on his head.

He was sure it wouldn't take long for her to realize that a full-frontal battle with him wasn't a great idea. That was okay, though. Once she did, he would be happy to show her that this rhino knew a few tricks.

At the prompting of the promise of an incoming assault, Gray sprang to his feet, moving in a gray blur even before the head of the bazooka finished raising towards him. There was a searing sensation of heat behind him, but he dared not turn to look at the blast; he concentrated solely on moving, and making sure the rest of the rhinoceros' attacks did not, likewise, reach him.

A new toy; he dimly registered in the back of his mind, as out of the corner of his eye he glimpsed something shimmering bright, dimming the area around him, as if drawing the very light around him into his hands. Grey rounded about the large figure- one thing he had learnt, it was that big meat didn't corner too well. He drew himself low, stretching out one hand- the unharmed one- and snatched up his original blade.

The mammoth lobbed the orb ahead of him, perhaps aiming for the an pre-emptive spot where he assumed Gray would be next. The Criminal took a split second to weigh his options- should he curve around it, switch directions and back away for it? He took no longer than the fraction of his second to go through with his decision- instead of taking a divergent course, Gray pulled forward, increasing the speed of his strides. He figured the man had underestimated his speed by some degree, and he'd be able to pull clear of the orb in no time.

And so he did; the orb whizzed behind him harmlessly, and his heart did a little cartwheel of pre-celebration. Didn't count on the orb exploding, though.

The explosion of intense light sent him sprawling onto the ground, landing on his knees and a hand out to stabilize himself. He blinked and shook his head, clearing himself of the strange popping blank left by the bang of the charge. By stroke of fortune, Gray had already been out of the charge's blast radius when it had gone off- but not having prepared for it had shook him a bit, and then some.

The GSP once again plucked his horn to bring the bladed nosepiece down upon him in a furious charge, bearing down upon the fallen swordsman with due menace. Muttering a quick curse, Gray righted himself, his blade held out, as if ready to meet the stampeding bull in a heads-on clash.

And, wearing a brick red glove on his right hand, he opened a palmful of flame and flashed it towards the GSP.

Which, of course, did nothing; even without the all-protective Aura surrounding the Wave Warrior, his fiery punch would likely be ineffective, especially given the state of his arm. But it did work as a more flashy version of a distraction- and a fake. Like a flitting swallow, Gray weaved in between the space under the bull's arm, and thrust out; a thin sheen of silver gliding through the air.

And though the earlier default Sword weapon was hapless in the face of the nigh-impenetrable Aura, this was Gray's blade; and shiryo zantou was a little different from that of an ordinary blade.

Like a flowing stream, the ghostly length of metal, unadorned by the usual traditional wave patterns, moved in a liquid fashion towards the aura, and seemingly rippled when it made contact.

But unlike the previous instance, this time, the blade would meet less resistance than a heated knife through butter. Shiryo zantou passed through practically anything; force fields, barriers, armor- stood to reason that Auras were no exception either. And what was inside the Aura were going to have a very unpleasant surprise.

Wheeling around, the gray warrior sent a following slash across the width of the berserker's back. The blade was currently his only trump card against this man, and hell, he was going to milk it for what it was worth.

Dynamo's prey flitted out of the way, taking advantage of her speed compared to Dynamo's. She dashed towards him, jumping away and ducking down to get out of the way of his flurry. When she ducked down, though, something she did caught his eye.

Her hand suddenly got replaced by a bright, red glove, which caught fire. Dynamo was distracted by the sudden flame for but an instant, every one of his instincts telling him to get away while his aura made sure that he didn't need to. Still, he took a step back, narrowly missing the boxing glove -

- But, wasn't fast enough to notice the flicker of silver, as the blade came up from under his arm and across his chest. The weapon, somehow getting past his aura, slipped through his armor without problem. He felt the cold of the blade against his rib, and, although he didn't flinch, he made a note of the fact that it actually hurt. Whatever the weapon was capable of doing, it phased through his protection without worry.

When she whirled around for a follow-up, he decided to just truck through the pain. It's what he was good for - no matter how good she was at swinging that blade, and no matter how many times it hit him, he wasn't going to flinch.

He was preparing for his counterattack when her weapon came into contact with his aura. This time, instead of rippling through, it came to a very quick halt, not getting far behind its yellow field. He looked down at her sword at his side, then turned his gaze back down at her.

He grinned that hedonistic grin, again. "Where's dis look familier from?

"I think it was somethin' like this."
Dynamo grabbed at her sword again, taking great pride in her not doing her homework. Normally, that was his thing - either way, once again, he had his good ol' friend the bazooka aimed at her armored (maybe pretty?) face.

"Kaboom!" he shouted, as he fired the weapon again. This time, the weapon went away immediately after its fire. He didn't care much for having to get rid of it (he liked watched things go kablamo), but, he had to do what he had to do.

And what he felt like he had to do was squash her. He stomped his hoof down, once. . .

Stomped his foot down a second time. . .

And, just as his foot would stomp down a third time, something went wrong. The yellow aura that turned the world honey-colored, the one that he was actually kind of liking? That, for whatever reason, got replaced by a purple bubble that didn't look at all as protective as the yellow aura. It was his Omega Barrier, which he didn't like, because he didn't activate it!

His foot came down, but, he didn't go charging forward like he'd planned on. With his Aura replaced by his Omega Barrier, not only was he lacking a great defense, his battle cards were shut down. This was just annoying. . .

He huffed, glaring up and over at the girl. He raised a brow, his golden eyes flaring with rage as his face contorted more closely to a look of uncontrolled rage. He didn' know how, but, she somehow caused this.

"I don' like tricks, thiefs, clowns, ninjas or bulls. I hate electici-whatever, too. But, what I hate the most. . .is cheats," he growled, holding up the Dynamo Gauntlet. He closed his black fingers and pointed the gauntlet at her, using his other hand to pull the gauntlet back on the spring-thingy. The boosters on the back of the gauntlet flared with energy, and the fist suddenly blasted off from the rest of his arm, rocketing forward and slightly pushing the big guy back.

He had just launched his fist at her. He wouldn't be able to use it for a good little minute - until it came back to him, obviously - but, that fist would hurt. Besides, it went faster than he did, so. . .

Then, he was reminded of his purple world instead of his yellow one. He growled, again.

Mehk sighed in relief. He succeeded - the Barrier replacing Dynamo's aura was his idea, not the guy's. Or, in Dynamo's thoughts, the girl's. The fact that he lashed out at her in exasperation was simply a happy mistake - it was Dynamo's own lack of foresight that stopped him from realizing that.

Mehk had theorized that, since Dynamo was capable of maintaining his custom and other key skills without being in full control, then, Mehk should have some sort of control, himself. Handling it much like one of his experiments, Mehk put that to work, and simply focused on activating the Omega Barrier - which he knew would remove the Aura.

His plan wasn't to make Dynamo any easier to defeat - in fact, he was hoping on Dynamo winning this. He was also hoping on Dynamo somehow losing control, and Mehk getting a hold on his own body, but, the recent comprehensive nature of the Omega Program showed that this wasn't going to happen. What he did think this would accomplish, though, was, at the least, it would leave Dynamo at worse for wear than should he get to keep his aura for a minute or so longer. When Dynamo wins (optimism for the win), he'll hopefully be battered enough to have to stop fighting.

He hoped that this would have a doubly productive result. This should stop both Dynamo's rampage on the already troubled WAXA faculty, and stop Dynamo from trying to destroy the poor criminal after they were already down and out. He didn't want to have to take in another unconscious criminal, and have to explain why they weren't respondent. Criminal or not, no one deserved how Dynamo treated that poor girl.

Thank god for dj vu, because if Kirihiko Kyo hadn't danced this dance already, he might have fallen prey to the routine.

RhinoMan was quite right; when he'd grabbed his blade, they had seen this play before; the heat of the bazooka was still fresh on his mind. So when the lanky rocket launcher was lowered to face level, he immediately released his grip on the blade and start arching back, winding himself in a graceful bridging bow. A ear-clapping blast roared- and the incendiary charge passed overhim as he was still arching backwards like a rhythm gymnast, its scorching heat hot enough to sear the hairs off his stomach as it passed over.

Finishing out of his action with a backflip, less for style points, more out of neccssity, Kyo righted himself and began backpeddling- but not too far; staying just out of arm's reach, yet keeping a wary distance where he could pass fair judgement on assessing the state of battle. His opponent was a skilled brawler; that much was apparent, but Kirihiko realised he had a latent edge of experience over him. No, it was nothing to do with the amount of battles they'd been in; the other's number of fistfights may perhaps outnumber his count, but Kyo had gone toe-to-toe with other titans in the forefront, lived through countless scrapes and near deaths; which had almost always ended in defeat. And for that, he was the richer for it.

The Rhino may be the king of the playground when it came to wrestling in the sand pit; but he hadn't fought breath-stopping amalgations of Crimson, not tussled with impossible speedsters atop a moving vehicle, not truly gone against unfair, unsurmountable odds, not when he was the one weighing the scales on his side with brute strength and ferocity.

But Kirihiko? When it came to losing fights, not many was par to his level.

The big man began stomping, rearing for a charge- then stopped short, as his Aura was replaced by an indigo sphere. He looked dumbly suprised for a second; then his eyes contorted in fury, and gnashed his teeth together behind the mouthpiece, raising his arm towards him.

"I don' like tricks, thiefs, clowns, ninjas or bulls. I hate electici-whatever, too. But, what I hate the most. . .is cheats," The berserker lashed out, as light gathered behind his arm, before it blasted out in a straight arc, heading right for Gray at hurtling speeds.

But Gray's countenance never changed, blankly unfazed by the display as he waited for his opponent to slowly set up. He'd figured the gist of his opponent out; he thought in straight lines, in definite, solid positives and negatives. Hit hard in a straight line. Set up defences, solid and whole. Heck, he even moved in mostly singular directions. So when he took the time to set up and ready his attack, Gray was already very ready to counter his opponent's tactics.

The fist rocketed towards him, a speeding fist of blinding light burning at its end in candescent flares, the wholly mandatory rocket arm as demanded of tradition. But no matter how fast the projectile, it was meaningless when one had seen through its path, which was inasmuch declared by the GSP when he had pointed it at him. From there, it was no longer a matter about speed- but position. Just the shortest step to the left, and the fist blew right past him- perhaps with less leeway than he thought, more of a narrower call than he had first realised. Nonetheless, it hurtled right past him, and as it exploded against the wall behind him, Gray was already moving.

Gray cut to the Satella operative in a curving arc, reaching for the dropped blade left by his enemy, even as it was still falling through the air. His hand closed around the handle, and with one swift, flawless motion, he sheathed it again.

With a sudden right angle turn, Kirihiko whirled around and placed a foot atop of the Rhino's broad thigh, pushing himself up. He launched himself into the air, using the rhinoceros' body as a footstool- and now he was airborne, sailing through the space directly above the Wave Warrior's head. The gray man peered down, and manifested a magnificent axe overhead. His right arm was still weak and limp from the injury, but it took none too much strength or proficiency to just swing it downwards in a counterclockwise arc. Once he got started, gravity and momentum took over, and it bore down upon the great brute like a scything guillotine, an instrument of murder.

Not yet finished, he twisted around in midair, reaching out with his bleeding arm. A gardener's mitt encased over it, adorned with tiny, delicate flowers the color of sunlight. An ideal weapon for his hand to wield without too much effort. Taking a quick second to aim, he breathed out and a burst of sunshine spilled from his arm, flying with the Satella officer's back as its destination.

This time, when the man started swerving out of the way of his attacks, he was ready. Not ready to counter attack, but, ready for his barrage of attacks that would follow - he knew that this guy had to get close to attack him, and was fast. He was flexible, easy to break, and could get out of the way of his lumbering but heavy attacks.

Could he get out of the way of an explosion, though?

The man ran up, and, in the time it took him to run up, Dynamo's rocket fist had returned to his arm. He reached under Dynamo's hulking form, and grabbed at the sword underneath him; Dynamo let him. He started his plan when the warrior used Dynamo's thigh as a foot stool.

As the warrior jump up into the air and equipped a sinister looking ax, Dynamo suddenly braced his whole body and pulled his engorged fist far behind him. In the blink of an eye, the fist had gathered a ton of light energy, and the propulsion on its backside propelled the fist and Dynamo forward. He heard the swoosh of the blade against the air, and heard sword clashing against barrier. Then, Dynamo's fist went smashing into the ground first, creating a crater in the floor of the office from impact - the light energy and simple force of impact charged into the fist instantly expanded, causing a massive explosion to radiate from Dynamo's fist, outward.

When the smoke cleared, Dynamo's barrier was gone. The Ax had still hit home, and, removing him of his final protection. That was okay, though. . .not like h-what was that?

He barely felt it. The heat was barely noticeable against his hard shell, but, an instant later, he was left blind. Whatever his explosion had done, it hadn't konked his victim out of the game. The extreme light from whatever hit him blinded him, and he didn't even see it. "How is this fair?!" he roared in rage, the giant of a Wave Warrior blundering about in the dark, hulking limbs looking for something to crush.

Mehk noticed with each passing second that Dynamo was learning more and more, despite the fact that he knew the Wizard was getting angrier. Despite his battle style getting more frantic and more out of control, though, it improved - Mehk had never seen anything like it.

Still, Dynamo King was far from his true potential with Dynamo at the wheel. He was starting to develop some methods, and ways to handle his enemy's speed, much like Mehk would, but, there was still no reason - he was just punching things.

Dynamo didn't know how Mehk handled being blind. He wouldn't be able to piece it together, either. The key was to use your other senses, and don't blunder about in the dark. Dynamo was more likely to find the floor than he was to find the enemy.

A gambit.

The gambit.

You know- the one where you place your life on the line, and cut your flesh to sever the enemy's bone? The age-old one of blood and sacrifice, the double-edged blade that harmed both sides? In Sharo, Roulette plays you?

Yeah, that one.

So Mr.Rhino just decided to blow himself sky-high, and being quite vertically over the hulking goliath at the moment, Gray literally had nowhere to run.

Somewhere in the back of his head Hai was making a disconnected series of alien-pitched whines; a first, which Kirihiko realized with a turn of his stomach, was the creature sniggering. He didn't even know it was capable of that. Shut it. The young teen snapped at the ambiguous guest within his head crossly. Sheez. The Wizard had never let up a chance to rub it in with a good salty 'I-told-you-so', and this one would be haunting its unfortunate host for months to come.

And of course, all this had the time to take place in the back of his head, because all the whilst curls of light was unfurling and drawing ever nearer to his skin with every passing micro-second. The sheer intensity of the light was so bright, Gray wondered how exactly it was going to kill him- through radiation poisoning, skin cancer, or a really bad tan?

And the blast hit him; it sent him ricocheting off the walls like a rubber ball, and the Wave Warrior thought he heard something in his back break, of which he was quite sure wasn't the wall. Falling onto the ground, smoking, twitching, the Criminal lay, spent of his own resources.

So in his mind's eye, he reached out to grasp hold of that which Hai and him had been hiding within for some time now- call it an external power source.

The dark, ashen embroidery that surrounded turned a pale shade of emerald. The cloth, a mind of its own, seemed to rearrange itself- whereas it was flowing robe before, now it shriveled and contracted, wrapping itself in tight folds against his skin, a material supple yet sinewy.

And the emblem of the Ninja tribe scorched its serpentine design into the mask of the gray criminal.

The Gray Ninja picked himself off the ground soundlessly, flinching as pain traversed his body, taking a moment to shut a lid over it and maintain control.

The voices hit him first. A swirling mist of disembodied cries, all pleas and unscrupulous promises, threats of death and sweet nothings so poisonous to the soul.

He let them wash over him for a moment-

-and then closed a mental door and shut them out.

Seriously, people had trouble with these things? They should try putting up with Hai for a couple of weeks.

Turning a lazy gaze towards the hulking creature currently flailing about ever so blindly, he was pleased to see that his blast of light had taken effect and taken the rhinoceros' vision for now. He stood at the edge of the rhinoceros' reach quietly, regarding the blindly flailing creature.

"...Fair?" He echoed, his voice dissonant and quiet. "It isn't. You've had your fair share of fun. Now it's my turn."

And he reached out, one tentatively stretched figure, inching slowly towards the large beast's face. He waited till the trunk-like limbs had swung passed, matched breath with that small opening in timing; and stretched to prod the goliath on his nose ever so lightly.

Immediately he snapped back, steering clear of the incoming vice-like grip of those gorilla arms, his moments light and softer than rain. Silent as a dead corpse under a full moon night, he blended into the shadows within the building, becoming virtually invisible.

Dynamo's ears slightly rung from the sound of the explosion. He heard the sound of the man bouncing off a few walls, but, that was it - nothing to give him a clear direction as to where the guy went.

And, then, utter silence. It was like the man fell off the face of the earth, leaving him there with nothing more than the sound of computers and still gasping people; nothin' was coming in from the guy.

He kept stumbling about, his hands searching for something to grab a hold of and crush. The man was taunting him with his voice, but, it seemed far away - that didn't make any sense.

And, then, he felt it - something poked his snout. Dynamo raised his gauntlet, and sent it hurtling after the direction of whatever poked him. Had it been a receptionist looking for his attention, they'd have been comatosed - not that he cared. He was wailing blindly, though, and his attack was far off - his fist connected with nothing but floor.

His powerful punch connected with the floor, embedding itself into the concrete below. He was open and vulnerable; although, his vision was coming back. In bits and pieces, the world returned to him in small blotches of colors.

Again, Dynamo was a simple creature - whereas he may not have been blinded by the rage or be sent into a frenzy by it, he was already as near sighted as a person actually under the influence of rage. He had roughed up the man pretty badly, but, at this point, their only hope for actually winning this was if Mehk got control of his body again. He just hoped there was something the other guy could do that would distract Dynamo from his anger long enough to give Mehk that chance. . .

A cloud of fine powder drifted from the concrete floor that the Satella personnel had struck with a crazed piston-action punch, a hallmark of the sheer unbelievable strength the Wave Warrior possessed. Nevertheless; all that power was only wasted effort if it couldn't hit its mark; and right now, its mark was nigh invisible.

The Gray Ninja stole across the ground, his steps soft and deliberate, steering clear of trampling upon any debris that could alert the other to his location. He kept to the shadows- which, thanks to the cover of night and the ample lights wrecked by his counterpart in his rampage, were many, long and drawn.

He stilled his breath; the creature had finally the sense to quiet down, adapting to the silence and attuning his ears to look out for any sign of Gray while his vision recovered. A dangerous beast, indeed. The gray warrior was careful to mask any sort of his presence; his dull drab made him par-perfect for making use of the camouflage offered by darkness, while the Satella officer, on the other hand, burnt as brightly as a beacon in the dark, making him a big and obvious target. But Gray could not afford to take this fraction of an upper hand for granted. Should he let himself slip, the rancor (Ha, Star Wars reference) would turn the tables of him in a second and take him apart limb from limb- and not in the figurative way.

Back of the neck, he decided. There was a reason the old familiar spot was a favourite through the ages- and that was because it was pretty damn hard to avoid and pretty dang effective. The lack of sight was a pretty fundamental flaw; and if you couldn't see it coming, even if you knew it was, it was pretty hard to defend against something like that.

With his good hand, Gray lifted three small, viciously pointed stars grasped between his fingers- and with a calculated swipe that only sent a small swoosh through the air, he sent all 3 flying towards the berserker's nape of his neck, before darting off in search of another spot to take advantage of.

Dynamo's vision came back in full swing, albeit the few blotches here and there where he was still recovering. He could see enough to see his fist in front of him, though, and placed his other hand against the floor to begin his try and prying his fist out of the ground.

As his fist finally budged, though, and he started to lift it from the ground, three stars collided with the nape of his neck; the space between that and his gorget was so small, it was almost impossible to hit. . .and, yet, the warrior managed it.

Dynamo was paralyzed; not in the general since, but, in simple fear of realization that his opponent missed what could've been a death blow by mere inches. He hesitated for a second, wondering how to handle this.

It was this second of hesitation that gave Mehk the opportunity he had been waiting for.

Mehk's carefully collected mind had already recovered from the shock of the ninja stars, and had actually been expecting something of the sorts - in that instant, Mehk decided to take a reign in on his own body. Mehk put out the metaphorical rope, and struggled with Dynamo's wondering mind for his own control.

In the overworld, Dynamo would clutch at his own skull and shift around for quite a bit, his monstrous limbs gripping his skull tight enough to crush anyone else's. No screaming or yelling, just incomprehensible grunts of rage and protest, as Dynamo slowly lost control of Mehk's Wave Conversion. Mehk heard the mental protests from Dynamo, and simply shut them out - too much was at stake, here.

Dynamo King's armor changed from the vermilion to its normal bright red, the rest of his armor gradually turning to its proper color palette within a couple of seconds. When the rhino-esque Wave Warrior lifted his head, his golden eyes had a new addition to them - red irises, and black pupils, with intelligence and other emotions written behind them.

Mehk clutched his head, shaking it to clear away the rest of his mental fatigue, letting out a large huff as he got back up to his full height. With Dynamo already doing the work of getting his gauntlet out of the ground, all he had to do was find the sneaky Wave Warrior. He decided not to show too much more of what had happened in that odd exchange; the longer his opponent thought he was still simple and attack-oriented, the better. He planned on using it to his advantage. He had spent the whole battle in the sidelines, and had taken a great deal under consideration - now, it was time to put it to the test.

Easier said than done. He looked around for naught, unable to find the grey ninja."Now, where are you?" he asked towards no area in particular, not expecting an answer. He spread his arms out to either side of him, keeping his eyes moving and his other senses alert.

Should his opponent decide to show his face, he knew he wouldn't be fast enough to do anything about it. So, he readied a Battle Card, hoping it would help him in the speed department.

There was magic in standing still.

When youre moving, your senses are dulled; youre less likely to pay attention to something, even if it is in the peripheral of your vision, and what with oncoming speed/incoming speed/latent speed science- basically theres a whole lot to deal with, and a whole lot of instructions going through your body, so its easier to mess up. Go ahead; try playing a handheld game while taking a jog, see how that works out.

Now, when you actually take a second to stop and stand still- thats when the magic happens. You give your brain time to think, and plan; your awareness rises, and you can pay more attention to your senses, concentrating on that one detail youre trying to locate.

So when his opponent actually stopped moving, Gray knew his advantage had just dropped a couple of inches.

There was something about his entire posture too- a certain calm to him compared to the wildness before, a clarity to his movements as opposed to the blundering bulk and also an air of cautious guard, in place of reckless abandon.

Well, that wasnt too bad.

His stealth options may have been diminished in effectiveness, but the tradeoff may be in his favour if his opponent wasnt as versed and cunning in open warfare as his preivous persona. But no matter who was in control right now, Gray was clear on what he had to do: hit hard, hit fast, while he still had whatever advantage of surprise left.

The Gray Ninja sprang from the shadows, flashing out with his wounded arm as the petals once again fired off a burst of bright light towards his foe. His good hand sprang to his blade; and, in a heart-stopping instant, he sprung it free of its sheathed and returned it only a heartbeat later. Immediately, a flurry of slashes flickered through the air around the Wave Warrior standing before him.

Not yet done, Gray reached out, and a large throwing star materialized on his palm, only to fold itself revealing a length of silver, curved blade. Rushing towards the great figure, he threw himself to the side at the last second and let the Star Blade flash, scything it across the former berserker as he passed to cleave him in the side.

Rounding about, the Wave Warrior steeled himself and held the blade at ready, posed to intercept his enemys counterattack.

Eyes open. Searching. Mehk turned his head without shifting his body, looking for anything in the darkness that would give him a clue.

And, then, he came rushing forward. A little more than a blur compared to Dynamo's speed, he came dashing forward with the little gardening mitten. Other than the fact that it blinded him the last time it hit him, he didn't care too much about it - and he didn't have the time to waste a shield, so, he'd just have to go with the plan and hope he'd be alright.

The warm sunlight washed over him, and, while the light was definitely bright, it wasn't bright enough to blind him. He faintly felt some pain, and immediately took notice of the fact that Dynamo wasn't functioning well enough to block out the pain of battle. Thankfully, he was still well-padded, and it didn't hurt too much.

His prepared BattleCard was instantly downloaded, and a friend came to the battlefield: A Jammer, carrying all of Dynamo's height but very little of his physical bulk, and moved at the rate of any other Wave Warrior.

The Jammer instantly set to work, ducking out from beside Dynamo King's girth and into the field, standing beside the Wave Warrior as he suddenly unsheathed his blade -

To which Mehk's response was to put up a hasty shield, relying on his better and quicker wit, raising up his two arms to summon a radiant wall of light between him and the sword.

- Only for him to have been deceived. The Wave Warrior sheathed his blade as quickly as he unsheathed it, notably faster than Mehk could've ever guessed. Instead of a single, fast and strong slash, there were a multitude of slashes delivered so quickly, Mehk didn't even see the sword move.
Still, his shield was up, and it readily took all of the attacks - his sword bounced without effect off of his wall of light.

He didn't just waste time, though. His plan was still underway; as the slashes assaulted him, the Jammer went to do what it was good for - it dipped down and aimed a powerful punch at the ninja-esque warrior's midsection, just as he put another sword through Mehk's side. Once again, the warrior had a blade that passed straight through Dynamo King's extra hide, and Mehk felt the cold ebony against his rib.

And, there it was - true pain. Unhindered, sent straight through Mehk's nervous system without any interruption from Dynamo. He had no reason to flinch, and, yet, he did; he hesitated for a moment, getting a better look at his opponent.

. . .Wait a second. Did his armor change colors? . . .Wasn't it black, highlighted by grays? Mehk snorted in anger and realization. Must be a power like the Dino Girl had access to. That meant that the stakes of this battle just got a lot higher; he was fighting off of a whole other power source.

He was distracted for but an instant, and he pulled himself out of his reverie just as his Jammer friend disappeared; its job complete, it had no more reason to stay. Mehk, on the other hand, was far from done.

He dismissed his shield, without any further need of it, and dove forward; his engorged hand pulled back, he closed his fingers into a fist and launched an uppercut at the warrior's chest -

- and suddenly stopped, using extreme effort to bring his momentum to a halt. The gauntlet rocked backwards, like a lock on the gun being cocked, and then launched forward; the Dynamo Gauntlet, propelled by light as a rocket, aimed to carry the ninja away on Mehk's terms. When the rocket launched, Mehk's body was thrown back, and, although he stayed standing, he was thrown back a few feet.

And he was without a hand.
