Today marks the beginning of February: A time of groundhogs, school, and love. Of course, with such a season as this, its only natural that Sonia Strumm would want to hold a Valentine's Day concert in honor of St. Valentine. So starting to day, we're beginning our first event since our relaunch...
The Sonia Strumm Valentine's Day Concert!
This will be a three day concert starting on the 26th and will last until the 28th. Prizes will be given, as well as an appearance of Sonia Strumm on the days of the concert. It might be a little early to be announcing a concert thats not until the end of the month, but events like these don't happen on their own. Things need to be done, such as setting up the stage, advertising, preparing the music...no single person can handle this on their own. That's where you guys come in. Throughout the month, there will be different tasks that will need to be performed to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Helping out could mean more rewards and gifts for you, as well as make the concert as a whole more successful. We might also see a few characters flying around as well...
Team and Purpose System Since a project such as this requires so many people, we are now introducing our Team and Purpose System into the boards. Teams will help unite members to accomplish a Purpose, as well as give everyone a little more LP. Here's the official wording for the Team and Purpose System, which can also be found in Section 3d. of The Rules V3.
Team and Purpose System
Teams are groups of people that unite together to fulfill a specific Purpose. Teams can be useful to have both in and our of character. Benefits mainly consist of LP bonuses and RP material, but they can also be a good way to get to know members out of character. Here are some guidelines to follow when making Teams
Teams may be formed out of character by posting a thread in the Team section creating your Team.
A Team must be approved by at least one staff member before it can be an actual Team
To join a Team, you must post in the Team's thread to join.
There is no limit to members who can join a Team.
10 LP is granted to you for each member on your Team besides yourself.
If you decide to switch Teams, you must post back in your Team's thread and announce that you are leaving the Team. Failure to do so will result in you remaining on that Team.
The Team Creator is responsible for keeping track of all members in a Team. If somebody leaves or joins, it needs to be documented so that all Team members know how much LP they receive.
A Purpose is an objective that all members in a Team are striving to accomplish. This can range from many different things, although it must be something that requires a group of people to do as opposed to an individual. Fulfilling Purposes helps your Team out as a whole, as well as grants you some extra LP.
Purposes can only be formed in a Team
Purposes cannot be shared by Teams
Once a Purpose is fulfilled, each member gets an additional 5 LP per member on their Team. This applies to people who have just joined the Team as well.
If the Team name ever changes, the additional amount of LP given through completed Purposes is reset back to 0.
Team and Purpose rules are subject to change.
For the concert, the Team "For Love" is being made with the Purpose of "Make the Valentine's Day Concert a success." If you would like to join, post in this thread to do so. Remember, you get an additional 10 LP for each member in your group other than yourself.
Dice If you haven't noticed by now, we now have a 6 sided die encoded into the forum. I know a few members made some attacks that are dependent on a dice roll, so this was put into place for those guys. I will warn you that if you are caught manipulating the dice roll that you WILL be penalized, so think long and hard before trying to take advantage of the simple coding. This also includes editing a post where you used the dice roll, whether you needed the dice or not. If you need to edit your post, let a staff member know and we'll take care of it for you. I trust this won't be a problem though. If you feel like someone is manipulating the dice, let an active staff member know and we will take care of the problem.
Email As most of you have noticed, We've had an email section for some time. I'd like to announce that you can indeed use it however you wish, and that it is open. To use email, all you have to do is create an inbox. For more information, check out this thread.
EDIT: There was a mistake made on the Starting Cards listed. "Plasma Shot" should be called "Plasma Gun," and "Recovery 50" should be "Recover 50." We're sorry for this inconvenience, but be sure to make the appropriate changes to your card list.

In the middle is a simple yellow diamond. Hira's goggles are specially made to allow him to both see the Wave World and to not be effected by his own attacks (explained later).
Torso/legs: Youkai wears very basic green armor that is not joined at the joints. The armor is more square than round, giving Youkai a bulkier image and serving more as fancy battle armor than being a useful defense. His black jumpsuit is visible where there is no armor, making Youkai simply look like a battle ready Hira. On his chest is the same yellow diamond that is on his forehead, but is much larger.
Shokkuhanta
Name: Shokkuhanta Element: Elec Sub Element: Summon Gender: Male Description: Shok wears a yellow jumpsuit with basic grey and white armor. The armor is rather sleek and is bolded by a thin black outline over each edge to make his appearance less of an eyesore. He wears a mask-like visor that covers most of his head, although Shok is known to take this off. The light yellow visor meets at a point where his nose is while the grey legs hug his head, the arms extending out past his ears. Two very long and thin pieces of cloth hang off of his shoulders down to his knees, which are only there for aesthetic purposes. Overall, Shok has a very basic appearance.

Effect: A barrier that Fayt creates using his control over light. It forms as several hexagonal shapes forming a small barrier in front of Holy Seraph's arm. The barrier can be used once per custom to block up to High Damage. If the damage threshold is reached the shield flares to protect Fayt from any damage. HolySeraph can summon it an additional time in the custom (only once) by overloading it with energy by sacrificing 10% of health. This second barrier doesn't have overload protection feature.
Offensive option: HolySeraph can slam the barrier against the opponent to do damage. He can sacrifice health from the barrier to damage the opponent the same amount

Weapons
Weapon 1: Charity Legion Creates 2 to 5 little winged cherubs with low health that attack with pathetic, Light-element arrows. They can each attempt to evade incoming attacks, but do not attack if they do so. The number of cherubs is determined by a dice roll when Charity Legion is used and therefore they appear the following turn after activation. 1 - Summons 2 3 & 5 - Summons 3 2 & 4 - Summons 4 6 - summons 5 This has a 5 turn cooldown but replaces all the remaining cherubs with the new ones when used again.
Weapon 2: Divine Intervener Weapon 2 Attack: A wave of light washes over Dominion Brigadier, ridding him of ailments before he shoots it out in a beam. He is cured of status effects and healed for a maximum of modest damage when the light washes over him. The beam then inflicts the same status effects that he was stricken with and deals Light-Element damage equal to the amount that he was healed for. If he has no status effects and has full health, this attack does nothing. This attack has a 10 turn cooldown.

Attack Description: For two turns after this attack is summoned, clouds begin gathering all over the area. On the third turn, it begins raining. Any people caught in the rain will be confused. This rain lasts for one turn. The turn during which the rain ends, the clouds will turn into black ravens that descend(basically, they fly from the cloud) upon the enemy. Each raven does pathetic damage on contact with the enemy before disappearing. If Black Star gathers clouds additional turns, the number of ravens increases. For every two turns Black Star gathers clouds, he can summon two additional ravens. So if he gathers clouds for six turns, he would summon six ravens. Affects all that touch the rain save Black Star. Maximum ravens able to be summoned are 10. If Black Star gathers clouds such that it would summon more than 10 ravens, the additional ravens spill over into the next turn. This must be Black Star's only attack for the turn or else the clouds will fizzle out. D. Weapon: Black Rain D. Weapon Description: Black Star is allowed to summon one black thundercloud ten feet over one enemy per turn. If an enemy already has a thundercloud over them, then he cannot summon any more over that particular person. If two people are close enough to each other to touch, both of their clouds will rain on both of them, doubling the damage. Every turn, all enemies with Black Rain over them must dodge it, or destroy it. The way to stop Black Rain is by either hitting it with a freezing status effect, an elec-element attack, or a breaking-element attack. Breaking and Elec attacks will permanently destroy it, but freezing status effect-attacks will stop it for two turns. Getting touched by Black Rain will poison the person affected for one turn of low damage. Black Star is not affected.

Youkaiko
Name: Youkaiko or Youkai (You-Kai-ko) Element: Stealth Sub Element: Summon Gender: Male Description:Head: Youkaiko wears a gray headband that comes down in a "V" at the front and spikes out in the back. In the middle is a simple yellow diamond. Hira's goggles are specially made to allow him to both see the Wave World and to not be effected by his own attacks (explained later).
Torso/legs: Youkai wears very basic green armor that is not joined at the joints. The armor is more square than round, giving Youkai a bulkier image and serving more as fancy battle armor than being a useful defense. His black jumpsuit is visible where there is no armor, making Youkai simply look like a battle ready Hira. On his chest is the same yellow diamond that is on his forehead, but is much larger.

Name: Shokkuhanta Element: Elec Sub Element: Summon Gender: Male Description: Shok wears a yellow jumpsuit with basic grey and white armor. The armor is rather sleek and is bolded by a thin black outline over each edge to make his appearance less of an eyesore. He wears a mask-like visor that covers most of his head, although Shok is known to take this off. The light yellow visor meets at a point where his nose is while the grey legs hug his head, the arms extending out past his ears. Two very long and thin pieces of cloth hang off of his shoulders down to his knees, which are only there for aesthetic purposes. Overall, Shok has a very basic appearance.
